Dipak Sanyal, born on January 3, 1934, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 batch, West Bengal cadre. He served in the Law and Justice Department, with his most recent designation as Deputy Secretary from September 1, 1989, to January 1, 1992. His career included roles such as Director, Additional District Magistrate, Secretary, and Sub Divisional Officer, primarily at the Junior Scale level. Dipak holds graduate degrees in Law and Physics, as well as a postgraduate degree in Mathematics.
