Dipak Kumar Singh, born on 23 July 1968, is a 1992 batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Political Science, a graduate degree in Physics, and an M.Phil. in International Studies from JNU, New Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Director General cum Vigilance Commissioner at Bihar's General Administration Department since 30 November 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Commissioner, Deputy Development Commissioner, Special Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Secretary, Managing Director, Chief Vigilance Officer, District Collector and Magistrate, and Joint Secretary. He is proficient in Bengali, English, and Hindi.
