Dinesh Sharma, born on November 3, 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Kerala cadre. He served in various capacities including Special Secretary in the Finance Department (Economic Affairs) from July 29, 2016, to November 30, 2017. His extensive career includes roles such as Additional Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary to Chief Minister, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Executive Director, Managing Director, District Collector, General Manager, and Assistant Collector. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Macroeconomic Policy and Planning, a graduate degree in Political Science, and an LL.B. in Law.
