Dinesh Chandra, born on January 7, 1966, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2012 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, and an LL.B. in Constitutional and Administrative Laws from Allahabad University. Currently serving as the District Magistrate and Collector of Jaunpur since September 14, 2024, he has previously held positions including District Collector and Magistrate, Special Secretary, Municipal Commissioner, and Chief Development Officer. He continues to serve in the Uttar Pradesh administration.
