Dinesh Chandra, born on 15 June 1960, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2003 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Allahabad. During his career, he served as Director and most recently as Joint Secretary from 1 January 2019.
