Dillip Kumar Samantaray, born on 15 September 1954, is a retired IAS officer of the 1982 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He served as Chief Executive Officer at Madhya Pradesh from 5 August 2013 to 25 August 2014 and was associated with the Food Safety and Standard Authority. His extensive career included roles such as Principal Secretary, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Secretary, Managing Director, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Project Administrator, Additional Collector, and SDO. He holds a graduate degree and postgraduate qualifications in Political Science, as well as a postgraduate management degree from the University of Manchester.
