Dillip Kumar Samantaray, born on 15 September 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Political Science and a postgraduate degree in Management from the University of Manchester. During his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Director, Managing Director, Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Chief Vigilance Officer, and Principal Secretary. He was the Chief Executive Officer at Madhya Pradesh from 5 August 2013 to 25 August 2014. He was associated with the Food Safety and Standard Authority department before retirement.
