Dilip Kumar Rana, born on 10 April 1978, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2007 Gujarat cadre. He holds a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Gujarat and a Master in Public Policy from IGNOU. Currently serving as Commissioner at Gujarat in the Higher Education Department since 9 April 2025, he has held various positions including District Collector and District Magistrate, Tribal Development Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, and District Development Officer. Fluent in English and Gujarati, Dilip Kumar Rana continues to contribute to public administration in Gujarat.
