Dhermendra Dev, born on 27 September 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Sanskrit and a graduate degree in Law. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional Managing Director, District Magistrate, District Collector and Magistrate, Director, Joint Secretary, Additional Director, Secretary, Additional District Magistrate, and Managing Director. His most recent designation was Deputy Commissioner from February to September 1997. He also served as Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department before retirement.
