Dheeraj Kumar, born on 20 July 1977, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2005 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree from IIT Kanpur. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Deputy Director, District Collector, Additional Collector, Chief Executive Officer, Special Secretary, Commissioner (FW) & Director, and was on compulsory wait. Currently, he is serving as Secretary in the Medical Education and Drugs Department, Maharashtra, since 29 January 2025. He is proficient in English and Hindi. Dheeraj Kumar continues to serve in the IAS with dedication.
