Dharmendra Singh Gangwar, born on July 1, 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Bihar cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. degree from King George's Medical University. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Chief Vigilance Officer, District Collector and Magistrate, and Managing Director. His most recent role was Secretary in the Department of Border Management, New Delhi, from December 6, 2021, to June 30, 2023. His extensive experience spans multiple administrative and advisory positions across state and central government departments.
