Dharam Vir, born on 20 December 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Punjab cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Hindi and a postgraduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional Chief Secretary in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from 24 April 2015 to 31 December 2017. His extensive experience encompasses roles such as Principal Secretary, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Officer, and Member. He is a male officer who has contributed significantly to the Punjab administration.
