Dhananjay Dwivedi, born on July 1, 1973, is a 1998 batch IAS officer of the Gujarat cadre. He holds an MBA in Finance from Duke University, an LL.B. from Gujarat University, and a B.E. in Electronics Telecom from Rajasthan University. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary in the Panchayats, Rural Housing and Rural Development Department of Gujarat since December 22, 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Principal Secretary, Secretary, Additional Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Director, Officer on Special Duty to Minister, District Collector, District Development Officer, Assistant Collector, and Special District Development Officer. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
