Devinder Pal Singh Kharbanda, born on 24 January 1965, is a 2007 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Punjab cadre. He holds a B.E. and an M.B.A. Currently, he serves as the Director in the Department of Industries and Commerce since 14 October 2023. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Secretary, Special Secretary, Administrative Secretary, Labour Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Joint Secretary, and Controller. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the governance and administration of Punjab.
