Devi Prasad Karanam, born on 16 August 1979, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2008 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Sc. degree from Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU). Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Finance Department of West Bengal since 12 August 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Secretary, Senior Special Secretary, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Executive Magistrate, Assistant Collector, and Commissioner. He is proficient in English and Telugu.
