Devesh Chaturvedi, born on 15 February 1966, is a retired IAS officer of the 1989 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, an M.Tech in Industrial Engineering from IIT Delhi, and a PG Diploma in Public Policy from IIM Bangalore. His distinguished career includes roles such as Secretary in the Department of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare (2024–2026), Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, and District Magistrate. He received multiple awards, including the CAPAM International Innovation Award (2013) and the National Tourism Award (2012-13) for managing the Kumbh Mela. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
