Devendra Nath Gupta, born on 30 June 1966, is a 1989 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Odisha cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Executive Director, Managing Director, Project Manager, and Consultant Under Secretary Equivalent. He has also held senior roles such as Commissioner & Secretary, Chairman & CEO, Special Secretary, and Principal Secretary. From 20 April 2015 to 23 January 2018, he served as the Chief Electoral Officer. He is currently serving in the Law and Justice Department.
