Devendra Nath Gupta, born on June 30, 1966, is a 1989 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Odisha cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. Currently serving in the Law and Justice Department, Gupta has held various key positions including Chief Electoral Officer from April 20, 2015, to January 23, 2018. His extensive career encompasses roles such as Principal Secretary, Special Secretary, Commissioner & Secretary, Chairman & CEO, Executive Director, Joint Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Managing Director, Project Manager, and Sub Collector.
