Devendra Chaudhary, born on May 7, 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Botany and a postgraduate degree in Chemistry. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Development Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Commissioner and Director, Adviser, Managing Director, Joint Managing Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Director, Joint Director, Sub Divisional Officer, and Executive Magistrate. His most recent position was Secretary in the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department from May 1, 2016, to January 13, 2018.
