Deo Datta, born on 20 February 1949, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering and a graduate degree in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Divisional Commissioner, Joint Secretary, and Additional Chief Executive Officer. His most recent position was Secretary of the Fisheries Department from 8 June 2007 to 28 February 2009. Deo Datta’s extensive administrative experience spans roles such as Commissioner, Secretary Director, Chairman and CEO, and Deputy CEO.
