Deepak Upreti, born on 15 October 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 Rajasthan cadre. He holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in Geology. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Principal Secretary, Commissioner, Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, Special Secretary, Managing Director, District Collector and District Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, Additional Collector, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent role was Principal Secretary at Rajasthan from 20 July 2016 to 31 October 2018. He was associated with the Home Guards Department during his service.
