Deepak Singhal, born on 25 May 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Industrial Engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, Managing Director, Secretary, Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Member, Vice Chairperson, Special Secretary, Administrator, Executive Magistrate, and Director. His most recent position was Director from 17 March 2011 to 31 May 2019.
