Deepak Kapoor, born on 20 April 1966, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 Maharashtra cadre. He holds an M.A. degree and is currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary at Mumbai since 1 October 2022 in the Water Resources Department. Throughout his career, Kapoor has held various positions including Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Transport Commissioner, Joint Managing Director, Joint Chief Executive Officer, Private Secretary, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Additional Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, CEO, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English and Hindi. Kapoor continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
