Deepak Anand, born on October 1, 1982, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2007 Bihar cadre. He holds a B.A. in Arts and an M.A. in Philosophy. Currently serving as Secretary in the Labour Resources Department, Bihar since September 19, 2024, Anand has held various positions including Sub-Divisional Officer, Director, Additional Secretary, District Magistrate, District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Development Commissioner and CEO. He is proficient in English and Hindi. Throughout his career, he has received the Urdu Learning Certificate, Digital India Week Award, and Mid Day Meal Award. He continues to serve in the IAS.
