Deepa Cholan, born on January 2, 1980, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2008 Karnataka cadre. She holds a B.A. and M.A. from Bangalore University. Currently serving as Secretary in the Urban Development Department, Karnataka since March 12, 2024, she has held various positions including Deputy Commissioner, Director, Chief Executive Officer, Assistant Commissioner, and Managing Director. Fluent in English, Tamil, and Kannada, Deepa Cholan continues to contribute to the administrative framework of Karnataka.
