Debi Prasad Bandhopadhyay, born on April 1, 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1997 batch, West Bengal cadre. During his career, he served in the Labour and ESI Department, holding the position of Director from June 14, 2011, to March 31, 2012. He also served as Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister and was placed on compulsory wait. His tenure in the IAS reflects his service within the West Bengal cadre until retirement.
