Debashree Mukherjee, born on 19 November 1968, is a 1991 batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre. She holds an M.A. in English Literature and an M.Sc. in Water and Environmental Management from Loughborough University. Currently, she serves as Secretary at the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, New Delhi, a position she has held since 22 August 2025. Throughout her career, she has held various roles including Secretary, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, OSD to Minister, Urban Adviser, Commissioner, and Deputy Commissioner. She is proficient in Bengali, English, and Hindi.
