Debabrata Kantha, born on March 10, 1965, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 Andhra Pradesh cadre. A graduate in Sociology, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Project Director, Chief Rationing Officer, Joint Collector, Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Managing Director, Commissioner, and Secretary. His most recent position was Commissioner in the General Administration Department from July 30 to August 1, 2008. Throughout his career, Kantha contributed to the administrative framework of Andhra Pradesh before retiring from service.
