Deba Prasad Misra, born on February 3, 1967, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2011 Assam Meghalaya cadre. He holds a BSc and an MBA. Currently serving as Secretary to the Government of Assam since July 1, 2025, he works in the Administrative Reforms and Training, Pension, and Public Grievances Departments. Mr. Misra has previously held the position of Secretary. He continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to the administration of Assam.
