Deba Prasad Jana, born on 16 December 1945, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 batch, West Bengal cadre. During his career, he held several key positions including Joint Municipal Commissioner, Member Secretary, District Magistrate, and Additional District Magistrate. His most recent role was Director of the Sericulture Department, serving from 13 January 2005 to 31 December 2005.
