Deb Kumar Chakaborty, born on January 5, 1946, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 batch, West Bengal cadre. He served in various capacities including Election Officer, Joint Municipal Commissioner, Joint Secretary, and Additional District Magistrate. His most recent designation was Chief Executive Officer in the Law and Justice Department from September 16, 2005, to January 31, 2006. Mr. Chakaborty holds a graduate degree and has contributed to the administrative framework of West Bengal throughout his career.
