Dayal Singh, born on January 9, 1937, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1900 batch, Punjab cadre. He holds a Graduate degree in English and a postgraduate qualification in Punjabi. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Sub-Divisional Officer, Deputy Secretary, and Managing Director. His most recent position was Executive Director in the Social Justice and Empowerment Department from June 1, 1992, to January 1, 1995. Singh’s extensive service reflects his commitment to administrative roles within the Punjab cadre.
