Daya Nidhan Pandey, born on July 3, 1976, is a 2006 batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre. He holds an M.P.A. in Public Administration, a B.A. in Arts, and an M.A. in Philosophy. Currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Steel since May 28, 2025, Pandey has held various positions including Sub-Divisional Officer, Divisional Commissioner, Secretary, Additional Secretary, Director, District Collector and Magistrate, and Chief Executive Officer. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Urdu and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
