Darbara Singh Guru, born on May 10, 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Punjab cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Physics and a graduate degree in Mathematics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Principal Secretary, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Secretary, Director, Managing Director, Commissioner, Special Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Civil Aviation Department from December 20, 2010, to May 31, 2012.
