D Vivekanandan, born on June 4, 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1998 Tamil Nadu cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Managing Director, Secretary Director, Director, Chief Executive Officer, and District Collector. His most recent position was Project Director at the Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society from August 27, 2013, to June 30, 2014. Throughout his career, he contributed to multiple administrative roles within the Tamil Nadu government before retiring from service.
