D V Dikshit, born on May 6, 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Economics and a postgraduate qualification in English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary Director, Special Secretary Director, District Collector and Magistrate, and Special Secretary. His most recent role was Commissioner Director at Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, from August 1, 2001, to May 31, 2002. He was also associated with the Land Revenue Department as Director of Census Operations.
