D Senthil Pandiyan, born on 21 June 1977, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2002 Uttarakhand cadre. He currently serves as Joint Secretary in the Department of Earth Sciences, Ministry of Earth Sciences, New Delhi (since 6 October 2022). He holds a graduate degree in Agriculture from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and master's degrees in Public Policy and International Development Economic Development from Duke University. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Secretary, Transport Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner, District Magistrate, and Director General. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Tamil and remains in active service.
