D Sabitha, born on 15 October 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Tamil Nadu cadre. She holds an M.Phil. in Commerce, along with graduate and postgraduate degrees in Commerce. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including District Collector, Sub Collector, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary Equivalent, Additional Collector, Director, Executive Director, Managing Director, Chief Operations Officer, Inspector General, and Chairman and Managing Director. Her most recent position was Secretary of the School Education Department from 24 January 2012 to 31 October 2019.
