D S Shukla, born on July 9, 1935, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mathematics. During his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Secretary, Additional Director, Joint Secretary, and Special Secretary. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Department of Planning and Programme Implementation from July 1, 1991, to July 1, 1993.
