D S Chauhan, born on 29 December 1940, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds graduate degrees in Economics and Law, along with a postgraduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, Chauhan served in various capacities including Junior Scale, S D O, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, General Manager, Joint Secretary, and Additional Commissioner. His most recent position was Additional Commissioner at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, from March 1997 to December 2000. Chauhan's extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Madhya Pradesh cadre.
