D R Asha, born on April 18, 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Kerala cadre. She holds an M.B.B.S. in Medicine and a postgraduate degree in Finance. Over her career, she served in various capacities including District Collector, Director, Managing Director, General Manager, Additional Secretary, Special Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Additional Chief Secretary. Her most recent role was Additional Chief Secretary in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from September 17, 2020, to April 30, 2023. Her extensive experience spans multiple leadership positions within the Kerala state administration.
