D P Sinha, born on 13 October 1934, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Bihar cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics and a graduate degree in Economics. Over his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale officer, Deputy Development Commissioner, Director, and Managing Director. His most recent position was Secretary in the Law and Justice Department, from 1 July 1989 to 1 October 1992.
