D P Singh, born on October 20, 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a degree in Veterinary Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Deputy Director, Additional District Magistrate, General Manager, and Deputy Secretary. His most recent position was Vice Chairperson in the Urban Development Department from September 1, 1988, to October 31, 1996.
