D P Desai, born on 22 November 1966, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2008 Gujarat cadre. He holds a B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from Gujarat Veterinary Science. Currently, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) since 4 December 2024. Throughout his career, Desai has held various positions including Chief Executive Authority, Registrar, Director, and District Development Officer. He is proficient in Gujarati and continues to serve in the IAS.
