D K Sinha, born on 13 November 1940, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Bihar cadre. He holds graduate degrees in Law and Economics, along with a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Sub-Divisional Officer, District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, Managing Director, Additional Secretary, and Special Secretary in the Department of Employment and Training from 1 February 1997 to 30 November 2000. His extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Indian government.
