D K Sinha, born on March 6, 1934, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 Bihar cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Physics and a postgraduate degree in Chemistry. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Managing Director, and Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Secretary in the Department of Home, from May 1, 1990, to March 1, 1992.
