D K Murthy, born on May 2, 1932, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in English Literature. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Assistant Secretary, Special Deputy Collector, District Supply Officer, Revenue Divisional Officer, Joint Collector, and Deputy Secretary in the Water Resources Department. His most recent position was Deputy Secretary from March 1, 1990, to May 1, 1990.
