D K Jain, born on 28 October 1937, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1961 Maharashtra cadre. He holds graduate degrees in Law and History. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Managing Director, Additional Secretary, Secretary, Special Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Secretary to Governor, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Deputy Commissioner, Director, and Assistant Collector. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Finance Department of Maharashtra. Mr. Jain’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple key roles within the state government.
