D K J Dharaiya, born on 17 September 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree and an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Gujarat University. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, District Development Officer, Director, Joint Commissioner (Rehab), and Director (GRC). His most recent position was Additional Secretary in the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Gujarat, from 20 April 2008 to 30 September 2011. Mr. Dharaiya’s extensive service reflects his commitment to administrative roles within the Gujarat state government.
