D Jothi Jagarajan, born on 23 February 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds degrees in Law, Physics, and an MBA in Business Administration. Over his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Director, Additional Secretary, Secretary, Commissioner, District Collector, Managing Director, and Chairman and Managing Director. His most recent position was Secretary in the School Education Department from 6 September 2010 to 29 February 2012.
