D Jothi Jagarajan, born on 23 February 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Tamil Nadu cadre. He held various key positions throughout his career, including Secretary of the School Education Department from 6 September 2010 to 29 February 2012. His extensive service record includes roles such as Chairman and Managing Director, Additional Secretary, Director, Joint Secretary, Managing Director, Commissioner, District Collector, and Deputy Secretary. He holds academic qualifications in Law, Physics, and an M.B.A. in Business Administration.
