D Janardhan Rao, born on 25 October 1936, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 batch, Andhra Pradesh cadre. He held various positions including District Collector, Additional Registrar, Director, Joint Collector, Personal Assistant, Officer on Special Duty to Minister, Deputy Commissioner, Junior Scale, and District Supply Officer. He served as Managing Director in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department from 1 August 1991 to 1 October 1994. His educational qualifications include a Diploma in Personnel Management and a Postgraduate degree in Public Administration.
