D Jagatheesa Pandiyan, born on 11 May 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 Gujarat cadre. He served as Chief Secretary to the Government of Gujarat in the General Administration Department from 1 November 2014 to 31 May 2015. Mr. Pandiyan holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Business Administration. Throughout his career, he held various positions including Managing Director, Additional Chief Secretary, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Principal Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, District Development Officer, Assistant Collector, and Technical Assistant. His extensive service reflects a broad administrative experience within the Gujarat government.
